The Fort Peck Dam project was temporary, but it attracted a diverse influx of workers, many of whom stayed and retained the sense of solidarity that they had built with the dam.

Why can't I see a picture of the dam in the email or here on the website? I haven't been able to see any pictures on the emails for over a month. I've commented before but no one ever responds.
Hi, thanks for commenting. The reason you haven't seen any photos in the last month is that I stopped posting photos when I switched to podcasting. Do you miss seeing the photos?
I also miss the photos! My office environment isn't conducive to listening to podcasts and the beautiful historical photos and quick articles were a fantastic break from the grind.

DeleteYes! Really miss the photos - they tell the story in a way that simple audio cannot. You know the saying: ' a picture's worth a thousand words'....
